What Octane does

You send us a photo of a receipt for fuel you pumped into a vehicle. A person checks it. For every gallon it shows, counted up to the limits on the homepage, we owe you the rate shown there. Once what you're owed reaches the payout minimum, we buy USO for that amount and send it to the Solana wallet on your account.

Rates and limits can change. A receipt is paid at the rate in force when it's approved.

Your receipts

• Send only receipts for fuel you bought yourself, each one once, and within 60 days of the date on it.
• Every receipt is reviewed by a person, and we may turn any receipt down. We'll say why.
• Edited, borrowed, duplicated or made-up receipts close the account, and anything owed to it is cancelled.

Getting paid

Payouts are sent by hand from Octane's treasury, usually within a few days of reaching the minimum. They depend on the treasury having funds. If it runs low, approved payouts wait in the order they were approved. A payout can't be reversed once it's on Solana, so keep the wallet on your account current.

USO and who may hold it

USO on Solana is a token issued by Backpack Securities that tracks the United States Oil Fund, an exchange-traded fund that follows the price of crude oil. Its issuer doesn't offer it to people in some countries, including the United States, and it can freeze or pause the token, including in your wallet. It's your responsibility to know whether you may hold it where you live. Octane isn't affiliated with the United States Oil Fund, Backpack Securities, pump.fun or any fuel brand.

$OCTANE

$OCTANE is a coin on pump.fun. It isn't a share in Octane and gives no right to anything Octane owns or earns. You don't need it to get paid. It can lose all of its value. Nothing on this site is investment advice, an offer, or a promise of a return.

The service

Octane is provided as it is. We may change it, pause it or close it. If we close it, we'll pay out approved receipts that have reached the payout minimum as long as the treasury allows.

Privacy

What we keep, and why:

• Your email, or the wallet you signed in with, so you can sign in. Sign-in is run by Privy.
• Your Solana wallet address, to send your stock.
• Your receipt photos and the details on them, to check and pay them. Photos are stored privately and only Octane's reviewers see them.
• The country your connection comes from, to help spot abuse.

Receipt photos are read by Anthropic's Claude to fill in the form for you. Anthropic processes them for that purpose only. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Payouts are public on Solana, and the homepage lists recent ones by a shortened wallet address, never by name or email.

You can ask us to delete your account and your photos at any time, and we'll do it within 30 days. Payout records stay, because they're on Solana anyway.
